1. Detangle before washing
Use a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush to gently detangle the hair before wetting.
2. Brush from ends to roots
Always begin brushing at the ends, then work your way up to avoid unnecessary shedding or tension.
3. Wash before installation
- For best results, wash and condition the hair before installing.
- Use sulfate-free shampoo with warm water and condition with cool water.
4. Wash in a downward motion
Gently cleanse the hair in a downward motion to help maintain smoothness and reduce tangling.
5. Avoid rubbing the hair
- Do not rub or aggressively massage the hair while washing.
- Instead, glide your fingers gently through the strands.
6. Rinse thoroughly
Make sure all shampoo and conditioner are fully rinsed out to prevent product buildup.
7. Air dry when possible
- For best longevity, allow the hair to air dry naturally.
- Always use heat protectant before applying heat tools.
